Sunnah Of Jummah Prayer:
It is something very hard to believe in the truth that Muslims are forgetting about the true means of their very existence and life.
Many Muslims are still unaware of the Sunnah that should be performed on Friday.
Sunnah Of The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H):
The things that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) used to do on every Friday Include:
- Cutting of nails.
- Doing Miswak before going to Jummah prayer.
- Doing Ghusal before Jummah.
- Using Surma in the eyes.
- Using perfume. It is better to use an Alcohol free perfume.
- Use of Oil in hair.
- Walking to the Masjid.
- Offering Jummah prayer.
- Making a lot of supplications for loved ones and all mankind that exists. Also for all the previous Prophets.
- Recite Surah Al-Kahf.
These were the activities that were carried out by the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) on Friday.
Methods Of The Activities that were carried out by the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H):
Cutting Of Nails:
Starting with the right hand, first cut the nail of the middle finger. Then the smallest finger at extreme right. After that the thumb. Then the finger on right with the middle finger and finally the leftover finger. It is also known as the finger of Shahadat.
Doing Miswak:
It is mentioned in Bahar-e-Shariat that the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) always started brushing his teeth from the top right side of His mouth.
Using Surma In Eyes:
This is one of the most common practices of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). He use to do it on every Friday.
Using Perfume Every Friday:
The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) preferred to use a perfume that was alcohol free as alcohol is prohibited in Islam. The reason for it being prohibited is that it causes unconsciousness. Therefore, it was declared Haram in Islam.
Walking To The Masjid:
It carries immense importance as it gathers all the people in the way. They offer prayers with the congregation and this aspect shows the unity among Muslims.
These were the actions that were carried out by the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) regularly.

It is also said that all our deeds are presented before Allah. Therefore, we should ask for forgiveness on the day of Friday.
