Rabi ul Awwal is the third month of the Islamic Calendar. After the month of Safar, it comes. As it is an Arabic word, which means the first season of Spring. The month is started after sighting the Moon. Each Islamic month starts after sighting the Moon.

This month is highly significant for the Muslims. As the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) was born in this month. The exact date of His birth is disputed, but the month was Rabi ul Awal. Because of this, this month has great importance.
