12 Rabi ul Awal:
Rabi-ul-Awal is a month of Holy Prophet birth. The Majority of Muslims celebrates the birthday of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) in the month of 12 Rabi ul Awal.
Rabi ul Awal is an Arabic word, which means the first spring.

There are twelve months in the Islamic or Hijri calendar. Rabi ul Awal is the third month in the Hijri calendar of the Muslims. This month is very significant for the Muslims around the world.
This month is the most remarkable and significant for the entire Muslim Community in the world. As the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) is the last messenger of Allah Almighty.

This shows that no celebration is prescribed by Islam on the birthday of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). But some Muslims believed that 12 Rabi ul Awal is also the day when the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) died.
